client goals

When I asked Kam what success would look like for Kam Eating Psychologist she mentioned she wanted to inspire and empower women to be the best version of themselves. Her coaching is not just about weight loss it is looking at how healthy your life is in general and working on those things that have been holding you back like weight/body image and self worth issues.

She wants to be known as an Eating Psychologist with a non-diet approach that focuses on a 360 degree approach in stead of on cutting calories and exercising more.

Some of the goals she had set herself to help as many women as possible were:

  • Launching her website

  • Offer coaching and EFT session

  • But also offer cooking classes and workhops

  • Growing her Facebook Group

  • Share recipes (and turn them into an ebook)

The Strategy behind the design

One of Kam’s main focusses to get her business up and running, while building her audience for more passive products, was to offer her coaching and EFT sessions. Because of this, we made her services page the main goal of the website and the page where visitors could book one of these sessions the main call to action.

We did this on the homepage by having the 2 call to actions above the fold go to the consultation page. A bit gurther down on the page her services are mentioned with a CTA to this page. But we also included a section about her approach that links to more information about why working with her is different.

On the services page the different sessions are mentioned all with their own CTA to book a free consultation call. Followed by an explanation of how you can work with her.

As the focus is on the sessions but she also wanted to offer her cooking classes there is a link at the bottom of the services page that leads you to these classes. They can be booked and paid online through the integration with Acuity/Squarespace scheduler. So the option of the cooking classes is there, but it is not taking away the attention of the main goal; the sessions.

On the approach page there is a section about Kam, but as this page is about the client this has been kept short. But there is a link to a blog post where you can read her full story. And from this page there is a CTA to her services.

As a mailing list is an integral part of selling her passive products in the future a signup form has been placed on the homepage and in the sidebar of her articles and recipes.
