I feel my business looks way more professional and ready to compete in the market. I feel it is more striking and put together. I love it!

About The society of Professional Wedding Vendors

The society of professional wedding vendors is a membership for Wedding professionals. From full-time wedding photographer who only shoots weddings to caterers of weddings to hairdressers who also specialise in wedding hair. The membership offers a community for the members where they can work together to bounce ideas off each other and grow their business. And they offer Masterclasses in the offseason so that members can streamline their processes and organise their businesses so they will run smoothly in the on-season where they have to work much more in their business than on it. But the society is much more than the membership. They also offer a code of conduct by which members agree to abide by that sets out minimum standards of client care and professional conduct.

client goals

When Donna and I spoke she had just closed the application to the beta-test of her membership and was preparing for the second opening half way the year. And she was looking to create a brand identity that would look professional, creates trust, was timeless and elegant so that it could help her grow her membership. But she is also looking to be featured in trade and a public publications, create a course and start a membership for brides.

Strategy behind the design

The aim it to create a brand that reflects heart, integrity, trust and elegance. To achieve this the main colours are olive green, pink and purple. The Society of Professional Wedding Vendors main logo is a word mark. The type of serif font is representing a minimalistic feel so that the attention is going to the overlapping letters that represent unity, harmony and collaboration.

THE RESULTS

I came to Stephanie for a rebrand. In all honesty, I hadn’t been ‘branded’ in the first place. I just pulled things I liked and put it together. It wasn’t horrendous but it was far from what I wanted to achieve. I had a call with Stephanie and I could tell she understood my vision and I couldn’t wait to get started. Her questionnaire was so good it really helped me clarify somethings I hadn’t even thought about. Every step of the way, she walked me through what was going to happen, when to expect things and what the next steps were. The whole process was so smooth, I was so happy with the ideas she came up with. As we worked through she always asked if there was anything I wanted changing and it was awesome because it really felt we were a team creating the brand together. When the final files were delivered I was over the moon with the look. The brand guidelines are fantastic and just create that quick reference for me so I can ensure the brand stays consistent across the board.
