client goals

When I asked Kam what success would look like for Kam Eating Psychologist she mentioned she wanted to inspire and empower women to be the best version of themselves. Her coaching is not just about weight loss it is looking at how healthy your life is in general and working on those things that have been holding you back like weight/body image and self-worth issues.

She wants to be known as an Eating Psychologist with a non-diet approach that focuses on a 360-degree approach instead of on cutting calories and exercising more.

Some of the goals she had set herself to help as many women as possible were:

  • Launching her website

  • Offer coaching and EFT sessions

  • But also offer cooking classes and workshops

  • Growing her Facebook Group

  • Share recipes (and turn them into an ebook)

THe program

Based on the struggles Kam mentioned in our first call and the goals she had a custom program was created.

The overall goals of the weekly calls:

  • Create a colour palette for her to be able to start the website design

  • Create program suite (services & pricing)

  • Launch her website (See that project here)

  • Improve visibility before the website launch

  • Create an SEO strategy (research, pick keywords and where to use them)

  • Create a content plan

  • Work on setting up Asana for daily planning & content creation workflows

Month 1: Brand & Business Foundation

  • Business Foundation: business model & program suite

  • Brand Foundation: mission, vision, positioning, differentiation, brand personality, ideal client, brand messaging

  • Create a colour palette and pick fonts based on what was decided during the brand foundation

Month 2: Improve visibility + Launch plan Website

  • Set up Pinterest and improve IG engagement

  • Create a website launch plan

  • Set up Squarespace Scheduling/Acuity

  • Create a worksheet to track website traffic and social media engagement

Month 3: SEO, Content Strategy + Set up Project Management System

  • Create and implement SEO strategy on website

  • Create a content plan and use the same topic across channels

  • Work on setting up Asana for daily planning & content creation workflows

When I first spoke to Kam she mentioned she wanted to launch her website as soon as possible. Therefore the first focus was on creating a brand identity and picking fonts so that the website design could start. But to be able to pick the right colours and fonts and create the website copy we first need to make sure we knew exactly what Kam’s vision was for her business, who she wanted to work with, the services she wanted to offer and how she was different from others in her field.

In the next phase of the mentoring program, we evaluated her current social media strategy and worked on improving engagement on the existing channels and set up Pinterest so that she already has an audience when launching the website. We set up a website launch plan as well as a worksheet where she could track her website traffic and social media engagement.

In the final month of the program, we walked through how she could set up her SEO, do keyword research and keep track of the results. We created a content plan and pillars as Kam wanted to start writing articles and share recipes. And set up Asana for her daily planning and content creation workflows.

The results

Her new goal now is to expand the business with recipe ebooks and courses to support even more people.
